Privacy Panel

This is typically a non-transparent insert (often solid material) used within a fire door or fire-rated screen to obscure vision while maintaining the assembly’s fire rating.

Fire Rated Side Screen

This is a fixed panel of glazing and/or solid material installed adjacent to a fire door, designed to extend the fire-resistance barrier of the door assembly across a wider opening.

Fan Light (or Overlight)

This is a fire-rated glazed or solid panel positioned directly above a fire door within the same frame, allowing light passage or filling the space up to the ceiling while maintaining fire compartmentation.
